Isaria farinosa, formerly known as Paecilomyces farinosus, have a worldwide distribution and relatively wide host range. The aim of the work is to isolate identify fungus from soil Gara mountain using molecular analysis morphological characteristics species were isolated samples collected at an insect overwintering sites in mountain, Kurdistan Region, Iraq selective medium Oat culture modified with CTAB cyclohexamide. Results demonstrated that conidia are globose subglobose ellipsoidal shape, 2-2.3 x 1-1.3 um size, hyaline smooth walls.
